Discovery the Recon (A.B.) – 15/11/2023

Appena finita la ride “DISCOVERING THE RECON GLASGOW CRIT CIRCUIT”
Accompagnati da un volenteroso e generoso gruppo di circa 30 riders, ci siamo avventurati per le strade di Glasgow, che saranno teatro della seconda gara del. Secondo round della WTRL, in programma il 22/11/2023.
Abbiamo percorso i primi giri ad un andatura regolare intorno i 2.2 w/k
(valutata su di me che sono 70 kg)
Un bel gruppo ordinato e compatto procedeva affrontando lo strappo breve ma insidiosissimo “THE CLYDE KICKER”dove al culmine era inevitabile e doveroso, il raggruppamento.
Dopo alcuni giri, data la durezza del percorso, il gruppo si sfoltiva, avevo aumentato la velocità portandomi sui 2.6 wk.
Dobbiamo registrare un entusiasmo e una partecipazione straordinaria.
I commenti positivi fioccavano nella chat e a fine gara ho ricevuto varie richieste di amicizia.
Segno, credo, che abbiamo fatto un ottimo lavoro.
Abbiamo completato la ride programmata per 60 minuti e abbiamo percorso quasi 38 km.. Non male per un percorso così insidioso.
Un particolare ringraziamento a Luca Degre e a Claudio Tango, che mi hanno preceduto, affiancato e seguito per tutto il percorso.
Un grazie e a rivederci presto a tutti coloro che si sono iscritti e hanno onorato la nostra ride con la loro presenza.

As soon as the ride is over “DISCOVERING THE RECON GLASGOW CRIT CIRCUIT”
Accompanied by a willing and generous group of around 30 riders, we ventured through the streets of Glasgow, which will be the scene of the second race of the. Second round of the WTRL, scheduled for 11/22/2023.
We covered the first laps at a regular pace of around 2.2 w/k
(estimated on me being 70kg)
A nice, orderly and compact group proceeded facing the short but very insidious climb “THE CLYDE KICKER” where at the peak the grouping was inevitable and necessary.
After a few laps, given the hardness of the route, the group thinned out, I increased the speed reaching 2.6 wk.
We must record extraordinary enthusiasm and participation.
Positive comments flooded the chat and at the end of the race I received several friend requests.
A sign, I think, that we have done an excellent job.
We completed the planned 60 minute ride and covered almost 38km.. Not bad for such a treacherous route.
A special thanks to Luca Degre and Claudio Tango, who preceded me, supported me and followed me throughout the entire journey.
