Recon del mercoledì sera. Suki’s Playground. Percorso che ospiterà la 4° prova della WTRL. Anche stasera mi è toccato fare il Leader di questo evento fisso del mercoledì. Siamo partiti in una settantina di riders. Tutti i mercoledì siamo di più, nonostante la concorrenza agguerrita. Partiamo ad un ritmo sui 2.3 wk e procediamo lungo l’ondulato percorso iniziale. Il gruppo ordinato e rispettoso si avvia verso la prima salita. Decido di buttare un po’ di benzina sul fuoco proponendo uno sprint libero.. Altro che benzina, parte un razzo. Divertimento assicurato dal fatto che tolgo la Fence. Dopo poco ci ricompattiamo e cominciamo la salita. I watt aumentano ed si formano gruppetti sparsi che poi, sulla successiva breve discesa si ricompattano spontaneamente. Il percorso è bello e raccolgo i commenti favorevoli dei compagni di avventura. Il tempo e i chilometri scorrono piacevolmente tra una chiacchera ed una risata sul canale Discord. Arriviamo a rifare lo sprint al secondo giro e questa volta partono i fuochi d’artificio.. Ma come prima, ci aspettiamo e ricominciamo a pedalare tutti assieme. Che dire, gruppo bellissimo e persone stupende, commenti appaganti e soddisfatti. Finiamo l’ora fissata percorrendo 38 km con un wattaggio medio di 2.8 Ma che vuoi di più? Grazie a tutti i compagni di squadra e ai compagni di viaggio che ci hanno piacevolmente accompagnato. Domani sera avremo la Full Gass sullo stesso percorso. Vi aspettiamo numerosi.
Wednesday evening recon. Suki’s Playground. Course that will host the 4th round of the WTRL. Even tonight I had to be the Leader of this fixed Wednesday event. We set out with about seventy riders. Every Wednesday there are more of us, despite the fierce competition. We set off at a pace of around 2.3 wk and proceed along the undulating initial route. The orderly and respectful group heads towards the first climb. I decide to throw some fuel on the fire by proposing a free sprint… More than just petrol, a rocket goes off. Fun guaranteed by the fact that I remove the Fence. After a while we regroup and begin the climb. The watts increase and scattered groups form which then, on the next short descent, regroup spontaneously. The route is beautiful and I have received favorable comments from fellow adventurers. Time and kilometers pass pleasantly between a chat and a laugh on the Discord channel. We get to do the sprint again on the second lap and this time the fireworks start… But as before, we wait and start pedaling all together again. What can I say, a beautiful group and wonderful people, satisfying and satisfied comments. We finish the set hour by covering 38 km with an average wattage of 2.8 But what more do you want? Thanks to all the teammates and traveling companions who pleasantly accompanied us. Tomorrow evening we will have Full Gass on the same route. We hope many of you will come.
